This is, however, not the kind of thing you would dare to release on DVD, with a lousy transfer, and then try to show the world. I remember doing horror films of that quality when I was a 12-year old boy scout in France — I know French boy scouts must be pretty imaginative — and I could certainly do better now with my inexpensive digital camera. Cannibal Campout is gross, but looks so amateur that there is absolutely no interest watching it, unless you were in it. The slogan on the DVD says "friends don't let friend eat friends" but instead should read "friends don't let friends watch Cannibal Campout".
