The Golden Raspberry Awards took place at the Magicopolis theater in Santa Monica. Each year we attend the ceremony with the hope that our favorites, for whom we've voted with all our heart, make a clean sweep for their well-deserved Golden Razzies. We had the privilege to sit in front of the "talented" Tom Green along with the immense responsibility to man the spotlight (basically twirling the flashlight) when the curtain went up. As such, we were better situated to witness the unstoppable triumph of …Tom Green, who left with a case of Razzies (5 total). As usual, the ceremony was fun and caustic, with song and dance numbers and painful film clips punctuating everything in between the opening of the envelopes. While Mr. Green had enough good humor to come and claim his prizes, Mariah Carrey unfortunately did not honor us with her presence (or voice) while Ben Affleck and his colleagues were probably "unavailable" to attend.
